Honouring Roots, Embracing Now, Inspiring Futures.
A celebration of African culture, curated by Lucky Lartey
Full Circle is a one-day festival of arts. It is a dynamic, intergenerational celebration of Africa and African Diaspora arts, featuring dance, music, visual arts, film, and traditional African games. Full Circle offers a unique space for cultural exchange, honouring the past, embracing contemporary expressions, and envisioning the future of African art.
Audiences can experience powerful performances, engage in thought-provoking discussions, and connect with artists, practitioners, and academics shaping the African art scene in Sydney.
Mawunyo will take part in a panel, and will have a stall with copies of her book Hip Hop & Hymns available for sale through Better Read Than Dead.
